En esta película Pink Floyd actuaba en las ruinas del anfiteatro de Pompeya ante una grada totalmente vacía, en contraposición a las películas musicales de la época (Woodstock, etc), como si tocaran ante los fantasmas de los habitantes de la Pompeya antigua.
En este montaje el director Adrian Maben añade escenas rodadas en las sesiones de grabación en los estudios Abbey Road de Londres del Dark Side Of The Moon, además de nuevos efectos visuales y escenas espaciales, aumentando en media hora el metraje de la película. En los extras, además de la película en su versión original, historia de la Pompeya antigua e imágenes y posters de la época hay una interesante entrevista con Adrian Maben explicando como se gestó la película original además de los entresijos y problemas del rodaje.

Han hecho presentaciones en sitios rockeros y jazzistas de su país, además de presentarse como invitados en festivales de rock progresivo en España y Brasil.
Su música introduce una gran variedad de ritmos, utilizando la instrumentación de una banda típica, como teclado, bajo, guitarra acústica y eléctrica y batería, además de aquellos que se usan en la región en otros géneros, como la sampoña y flautas transversa y dulce.
